When Is the Season 3 Premiere of ‘Reacher’?

Season 3 of Reacher will premiere on February 20, 2025, with three new episodes dropping on Prime Video. After the initial drop, the remaining five episodes will roll out one per week every Thursday in the weeks that follow. The show streams exclusively on Prime.

The Plot of ‘Reacher’ Season 3 Was Revealed

The official logline for Reacher season 3 teases a race against the clock for one character.

“In the third season of the action-packed series, Reacher (Alan Ritchson) hurtles into the dark heart of a vast criminal enterprise when trying to rescue an undercover DEA informant whose time is running out,” the show’s official synopsis says. “There he finds a world of secrecy and violence — and confronts some unfinished business from his own past.”

The events of season 3 are based on the book Persuader by Lee Child, the seventh book in the Jack Reacher series.

Unpacking the ‘Reacher’ Season 3 Trailer

Prime Video released a trailer for Reacher season 3 on YouTube in January 2025. The trailer starts off with Reacher sitting at a table in a house and fighting a man who made a derogatory comment about one of the housekeepers.

Reacher is presented with an inquiry about an owner of a rug business, who is seemingly doing business with “bad people.” There was a flashback to Reacher’s days in the military when he realizes he will be confronted by someone from his past.

Fans were buzzing after it was revealed that Reacher will finally face off with someone who towers over him named Paulie. Paulie is seen in the trailer with Reacher in the gym. They have an arm wrestling match where Paulie accidentally punches himself in the face.

“He’s twice my size,” Reacher says.

“Exactly how much danger is this job putting me in,” Reacher can be heard asking in the trailer. The trailer also boasts no shortage of action, with fights, explosions, romance and some hints about major revelations that will happen.

‘Reacher’ Added Some New Cast Members for Season 3

In addition to Alan returning in the titular role, it was announced Anthony Michael Hall will appear as Zachary Beck, Sonya Cassidy will play Susan Duffy, Brian Tee will portray Quinn, Johnny Berchtold will play Richard Beck, Robert Montesinos will play Guillermo Villanueva, Olivier Richters will appear as Paulie and Daniel David Stewart will play Steven Elliot.

Also returning to the show, as featured in the trailer, is Maria Sten as Frances Neagley. She and Reacher served together in the army and she now works in corporate security. She was featured in the show’s first two seasons.

Will There Be a Season 4 of ‘Reacher’?

Reacher has already been renewed for a fourth season.
