The phrase skyrocketed to viral fame after Lady Gaga found herself accused of ‘reheating her own nachos’ following the release of her new single Abracadabra last week.
The term was also thrown at Benson Boone, who, after his 2025 Grammy performance, was said to be ‘reheating Harry Styles’s nachos’.

Simply put, it refers to someone who’s taken an existing idea or concept, and instead of creating something fresh, they’ve repurposed or ‘reheated’ it.
The term can be seen as either a playful nod to inspiration or a subtle jab at lack of originality, depending on the context.
In Gaga’s case, some critics argued she was ‘reheating her own nachos’ — pulling from her previous works like The Fame Monster and Born This Way for her latest song.
