Sutton Stracke looked back on her trip to Augusta, Georgia, during an interview ahead of Tuesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which featured snippets from her visit with her mother, Reba.

As she spoke of her relationship with her mom and reacted to Garcelle Beauvais, 58, suspecting that Reba was jealous of the relationship she had with her late father, Sutton, 53, admitted to being too hard on Dorit Kemsley, 48, and explained her “infidelity” comment about Kyle Richards, 56, and Mauricio Umansky‘s marriage. She also joked that when it comes to trips, her castmates come “whether [she wants] them to or not.”

“I wanted to show Augusta to Kyle and Garcelle. I wanted them to meet my mother,” Sutton explained on the February 11 episode of E! News. “I wanted to express my feelings towards my mother. And it was nice to have backup with Garcelle and Kyle, and I thought it would be a nice trip.”

Although Sutton admitted that she hadn’t yet spoken to Reba about the episodes, she doubted her mother would be “too upset.”

“She’s okay. She’s 82 years old. She knows who she is,” Sutton noted.

As for whether Garcelle was right that her mom might be jealous of her past relationship with her dad, Sutton looked back on a moment in which Reba told her she had a very different relationship with her father.

“I don’t know what that meant … There could be a little bit. My father gave me a lot of attention. But maybe she didn’t want it,” Sutton suggested.

Reflecting on her time on RHOBH, Sutton said her mom wasn’t a huge fan of Kyle’s weed dinner party from season 13.

“I smoked pot. It was a weed dinner, so I found it completely appropriate. And it’s legal here in the state of California,” Sutton explained as she defended herself.

Moving on to her treatment of Dorit, Sutton admitted there were “a few times” she was too harsh.

“But I also was in the moment. I think it’s years of probably reaction that are coming out now,” she reasoned.

Also on the show, Sutton said that when it came to her mention of “infidelity” during a discussion about Kyle’s marriage, there was nothing she knew that fans did not.
