FORMER Vice president Kamala Harris has been mocked online after viral footage showed her giving a garbled address to a Broadway musical cast.

Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff surprised the stars of A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical in New York on Saturday,

In a clip shared on X, she seemed to try and rally the cast backstage by giving a speech.

Harris appeared to talk about a vacuum, the need to fill it, and the importance of finding moments of joy.

“In times when we’re dealing with so much in the world, um, we have to find those moments that are about joy and, and, and, shining, you know, as we say, shining a light in moments of darkness,” she said.

“When we think about these moments where we see things that are being taken, but also let’s see it, you know, nature abhors a vacuum.

“Where there’s a vacancy, let’s fill it. Let’s know that reality is that the progress of our nation has been about the expansion of rights, not the restriction of rights.”

Harris then started to ramble about the need to be clear-eyed.

“We’re seeing a u-turn right now,” she said.

“For those rights to be maintained, which means we have to be vigilant. It’s just the nature of it.

‘We have to be clear-eyed. And it doesn’t mean we don’t see the beauty in everything. These things all co-exist, but I believe we fight for something, not against it.”

Viewers rushed to criticize Harris, labeling her a “salad queen,” after the speech surfaced online.

“The woman is completely incapable of giving a coherent statement,” one said.

Viewers described Harris as “embarrassing” and “delusional” following her rambled remarks.

“No self-awareness. No filters. No adjustment,” a viewer emphatically summed up.

Some said they were relieved she didn’t win November’s election, while others claimed she’s the “most incompetent” politician.

“It is unfathomable what the country would be like if she were president now,” a social media user said.

During the election campaign, Harris was often ridiculed for her convoluted remarks.

Critics wasted no time in describing her remarks as “word salads.”

Just days before Donald Trump’s inauguration, Harris was mocked after giving a rambled speech to victims of the Los Angeles wildfires.

And, she was ridiculed after rehashing the soundbite “unburdened by what has been.”

RAMBLING SPEECHES

Harris often used the line on the campaign trail and Republican opponents wasted no time by including it in advertisements and videos, using the soundbite as a political tool to attack her.

Harris has been coy on her future plans since leaving office.

She has been spotted at the FireAid concert and at a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game.

She has been suggested as one of the contenders to replace California governor Gavin Newsom when his term expires.

Newsom cannot run again for re-election meaning there will be a vacancy in the Governor’s Mansion.

An Emerson College poll suggests she would be the frontrunner if she launched a bid.

But Spencer Kimball, the executive director of Emerson College polling, warned if she stayed out of the race then the Democratic primary would be wide open.

Harris also leads early polling for the 2028 Democratic Party’s presidential primary.

One survey from JL Partners showed Harris was polling at 30% among voters.

She boasted a clear lead over potential rivals Newsom and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro.
