TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A chilly morning turns into a mild afternoon with highs in the mid-70s. A few clouds will move in but it stays dry.

A cold front will pass on Wednesday. Temperatures will be mild Wednesday with highs in the mid and upper 70s. Rain likely moves in during the afternoon and evening. Heavy showers are possible, even a few rumbles of thunder.

Rain mainly clears out Wednesday night with a few clouds lingering Thursday morning. The cooler air will filter in Thursday and highs will only be in the mid-60s.

Friday will be chilly as well with morning lows in the 40s and highs in the 60s.

The first half of the weekend will be nice with highs in the low 70s but another front moves through with shower chances Sunday.

This will keep our temps comfortable but just below average next week.
