ORLANDO, Fla. – A community meeting is scheduled Tuesday evening to discuss the future of the Tymber Skan condo complex in Orange County.

Commissioners are considering forcing the sale of the complex, located off Texas Avenue, to allow for redevelopment of the area.

The Tymber Skan complex has faced issues with drugs and crime for several years, prompting the push for redevelopment. However, some residents still living in the complex express concerns about having nowhere else to go if the sale proceeds.

The meeting is set to take place Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Memorial Middle School.

Orange County District 6 Commissioner Michael Scott is set to host the meeting. Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings is expected to be in attendance.
