Piers Morgan has revealed that he has been harassed by a woman he does not know, drawing a parallel to a real-life situation reminiscent of the character Martha from the Netflix show Baby Reindeer.

In an interview with The Sun newspaper, Morgan explained that after interviewing Fiona Harvey—who is believed to be the real-life inspiration for a fictional stalker in the Emmy-winning drama—he became the target of another woman’s harassment.

Morgan shared:

“What she was trying to accuse me of was absurd, complete fantasy.”

He went on to tell the publication that he had never met the woman, who, in September, filed a county court judgment against him and his production company, accusing him of “abuse, harassment, fraud, and dishonesty.”

Morgan ultimately won the case and was awarded damages, while the personal allegations against him were dismissed in court.

The Sun identified the woman as Felicity Lowde, noting that she had previously filed 64 lawsuits against various celebrities over the past year and had been jailed for stalking in the past.

Morgan commented, “She is a harasser, a bit like Baby Reindeer’s.”

Baby Reindeer, created by Richard Gadd, tells the story of his experience in a relationship with a woman. Gadd also played himself in the Netflix drama.

After its 2024 release, which saw it become one of Netflix’s biggest international hits, Harvey claimed that she had been wrongly identified as the inspiration for the story. She has since filed a lawsuit for damages against the streaming service, which is defending the case, affirming their support for Gadd’s account.
