WHITE House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is celebrating her much-older real estate mogul husband as he’s turning 60.
Though the fiery spokeswoman has admitted Nicholas Riccio “hates social media,” she’s still given a glimpse at their romantic life together.
Leavitt, 28, and Riccio got engaged in December 2023, just months before they had their first baby, Niko, in July 2024.
When Riccio asked for her hand, Leavitt shared some romantic pictures of the proposal and showed off a new gorgeous engagement ring.
Since the couple started a family, they’ve gone on tons of great adventures, including weddings with friends and some tropical vacations.
But after Leavitt was tapped to be Trump’s spokesperson on his campaign, their lives took a drastic turn.
Since stepping into the White House, Leavitt hasn’t shared as many inside looks at her private life and is instead focused on boosting Trump’s agenda.
Through it all, she’s insisted that Riccio has stood strong by her family’s side.
In a now-deleted Instagram comment, Leavitt said that she met her husband at a political event.
Riccio wasn’t handed his success and has previously revealed that he pulled himself out of homelessness before moving into real estate.
His parents split when he was a young child, and when he turned 18, he moved out of the home and relied on friends for shelter.
“When I was 19 or 20, I would call my buddies to go over [to] their houses to watch a game just so I could take a shower,” he told The Portsmouth Herald.
The determined teen started working at a grocery store and took out loans so he could go to college at Plymouth State University.
In school, he took a class on real estate, and it instantly piqued his interest.
Eventually, he moved to Hampton Beach in Leavitt’s home state of New Hampshire and saw many properties that could be revitalized.
Now, he manages the company Nautical Beach Properties and rents gorgeous vacation homes right at the northeast shores.
The website reads, “Make yourself comfortable at the Nautical Beach Properties. Sit outside in the afternoon sun and enjoy the sunset.
“We are a short walk to the sandy beach and boardwalk activities. Come enjoy our friendly hospitality and more.”
FIRST MONTH DOWN
Leavitt ended her first month as press secretary on a high note as she doubled down on Trump’s plan to make Canada the 51st state.
She’s also made a stunning glow-up from her days as a college softball player.
Leavitt has already made a lifetime of achievements in her 20s, including launching a bid for the US House of Representatives and working as a White House presidential writer in 2016.
But her greatest success is her family.
On Instagram, she shared a picture of her newborn baby and described the birth as the “best moment of my life.”
“It’s true when they say there’s nothing comparable to the love you feel for your child,” she said.
“My heart has grown bigger than I ever imagined possible.”
