A South Australian man has allegedly used two cars to wreak havoc on Adelaide’s Northern Suburbs.
The rampage began in Gawler, where police approached him for questioning over a knifepoint robbery at a bubble tea business in Munno Para. The driver opted to take off and embarked on a destructive spree through Elizabeth Downs.
The man allegedly steered onto footpaths close to children, hit a Volkswagen, and held a woman at knifepoint before taking her Ford Territory.
Police say he then returned to Turnbull Road, where he caused further chaos, with residents throwing bricks at his vehicle in an attempt to stop him.
Heavily armed police eventually arrested the man hiding in a bush.
A 33-year-old Two Wells man was charged with a long list of offences over the alleged rampage.
Police believe there may be more victims yet to come forward.
