Travis Kelce listens to Taylor Swift's music when he's 'depressed'

Nothing helps Travis Kelce shake off a bad mood like his girlfriend’s music.

Travis Kelce, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, recently shared on the “New Heights” podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce, why he turns to Taylor Swift’s music when he’s feeling down.

Travis, 35, said, “She has something for everything.”

Jason, 37, agreed that “no matter what mood [you’re in], you can find some Taylor music” to relate to.

The retired Philadelphia Eagles player, however, prefers “sad country” when he is feeling down.

“No matter how bad I’m feeling, there’s a country guy who is singing about it and feeling way worse for me, and that gives me joy,” the ESPN analyst explained.

Travis, for his part, noted that he “listen[s] to music that is very telling of [his] mood.”

He quipped, “The only way you can find yourself in the light is to find yourself in the dark first.”

The three-time Super Bowl winner has shared his love of Swift’s music on multiple occasions since they began dating in the summer of 2023.

In June 2024, Kelce listed his three top songs on the “Bussin’ With the Boys” podcast: “Blank Space,” “Cruel Summer” and “So High School.”

He named “The Tortured Poets Department” as his favorite Swift album earlier this month, joking that he is “biased” because it includes songs about him.

His favorite hits off the 2024 record are “So High School” and “The Alchemy.”

While Travis did not speak more about Swift, 35, elsewhere in Wednesday’s episode, he re-wore two pieces from previous date nights.

The “Catching Kelce” alum rocked a blue Marni shirt first seen during a night out in October 2024 in New York City.

He paired this with a black Tribeca hat, originally worn for a Big Apple outing two months later.
