The official Instagram account of US President Donald Trump has shared a bizarre, seemingly AI-generated video of his vision for the embattled Gaza Strip.

The footage shows war-torn Gaza being transformed into a nightlife strip with hotels, shops, cafes and a pristine beach.

An EDM-style song played in the background of the video, which said: “Donald Trump will set you free… no more tunnels, no more fear. Trump Gaza is finally here.

“Trump Gaza shining bright, golden future, a brand new life.

“Trump Gaza number one.”

An AI rendition of Trump ally and Space X founder Elon Musk features in the video, as does Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The video also features multiple golden statues of Trump throughout the futuristic Gaza.

Trump did not caption the controversial video, which triggered a deluge of comments before comments were turned off.

“I literally voted for you so you’d keep us out of global conflict. I feel betrayed,” one Instagram user said.

“This is a terrible idea and a terrible post,” another said.

Trump suggested earlier this month that displaced Palestinians be permanently resettled outside Gaza and proposed the US take “ownership” in redeveloping the area.

He made the remarks in a joint press conference with Netanyahu.

Trump did not go into great detail at the time as to the fate of Palestinians forced out of Gaza.

Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar and the Arab League, as well as the Palestinian Authority, have already rejected the idea of relocating Gazans in other countries.
