Lindsay Hubbard clapped back after West Wilson suggested that she won’t return to Summer House next season due to her baby as he doesn’t think he can “babysit.”

In the recent season premiere, Lindsay revealed her pregnancy to castmates. In confessionals, some of them commented on how quickly she moved on after her split from Carl Radke, who also returned for the season.

On the Trading Secrets podcast, castmate West was asked if he believes Lindsay will return to the show next summer.

“There’s no way, I don’t know. Unless they bring the baby,” he said, via Us Weekly. “I don’t think I can babysit. I don’t know how that works.”

When fan account @morganptalks pointed out West’s comment, Lindsay clapped back.

“I did more than West in my sleep this season… so…” wrote Lindsay, via @commentsbybravo on Instagram.

In July of last year, Lindsay and boyfriend Turner Kufe announced the pregnancy.

“Trigger Warning: This post contains more fireworks than the 4th of July! WE’RE PREGNANT!!!!! 💥💥💥,” said Lindsay on Instagram. “I truly believe the universe has a bigger plan and this is it! 💫 The second I had a feeling, I took a @clearblue Early Digital Pregnancy Test and getting a clear result, in words, made the next steps sooo much easier. My boyfriend and I are beyond excited to welcome our little #HubbCub this Holiday season 2024!!”

A month later, she addressed having to film with Carl, who ended their engagement on camera the previous summer.

“Obviously, in most normal situations — if you could call any of it normal — you break up and you won’t go then live in a house on the weekends with your ex-fiancé,” said Lindsay at the time in an interview with Us Weekly. “But here we are, you know, modern age, modern people.”

“There’s a little drama because you don’t just act like everything is fine and nothing happened,” the star continued. “There are past and residual feelings that come up that you need to address … but for the most part, I think it’s been OK.”

“I wish I could say it was [awkward]. But listen, I’ve known him for 100 million years,” she added. “We’ve done the show together, we’ve been on every season together. There was a life that we had before we were romantic, and I don’t know if we’ll ever get back to a friendship, truthfully. I can’t tell you that at this point, but I’m not uncomfortable around him.”
