Hazel Monét Gaines, the daughter of Grammy-winning singer Victoria Monét and fitness trainer John Gaines, just turned four—and she marked the special occasion in the most enchanting way!

The birthday girl celebrated with a spectacular Wicked-themed party, and channeled the beloved character Glinda the Good Witch in a gorgeous pink dress, complete with a sparkling wand.

The party decorations perfectly captured the whimsical world of Wicked, featuring a dreamy pink and green color scheme inspired by the show’s iconic characters, Glinda and Elphaba.

Friends and family gathered for a day filled with fun activities, including a ball pit where Hazel and her guests could play and celebrate in style.

John Gaines shared sweet moments from the celebration on Instagram, posting a photo of himself and Hazel in the ball pit “Still can’t believe she is 4!!! #GirlDad,” he captioned the post.

The celebration was a dream come true for Hazel, who adores Wicked and is especially captivated by Cynthia Erivo’s portrayal of Elphaba in the upcoming film adaptation.

Her love for the Broadway classic is well-documented—her parents often share adorable videos of her belting out Defying Gravity, hitting those high notes like a true performer!

Ahead of the birthday bash, Victoria Monét took to social media to express her love for her daughter, writing:

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my favorite girl!!! 4ever!! I can’t believe you’re already 4 I need time to slow dowwwwn! We are all so proud of the beautiful, kind hearted, brilliant, talented, silly and caring big girl you are! I will always be here to protect and guide you and to affirm all of your biggest wildest dreams cause you really can do it all! Mommy loves you Hazel!!! Let’s celebrate.”

Victoria and John welcomed Hazel on February 21, 2021. Though they split in late 2023, the former couple remains committed to co-parenting their daughter, who has already made history in the entertainment world.

At just 2½ years old, she became the youngest Grammy Award nominee ever when she was recognized alongside her mother for her feature on Monét’s song “Hollywood.”
