Meghan Markle has shared the first clip of her new Netflix show ‘With Love, Meghan’ after the streamer released a sneak preview earlier today.

Meghan, aged 43, is depicted in the preview forming a connection with chef Roy Choi, described as her ‘new friend’, while they share a common interest in ‘karaoke and dancing’ in Koreatown. They are shown cooking Korean fried chicken in an elegant kitchen setting.

‘With Love, Meghan’ is scheduled to debut on March 4, following a delay from its original January launch due to the California wildfires.

The clip begins with Meghan telling Choi: ‘The best thing about Koreatown is that you could go to all ages clubs and karaoke bars…’

‘I was part of dance crews, all that stuff,’ he replies.

She then reminisces over different dances ‘that were such a big deal’ like the ‘Roger Rabbit’ and the ‘Kid-N-Play’.

During a scene in a luxurious kitchen at a million-dollar property in Montecito, California, Meghan expressed her joy, stating, ‘Oh, it was just so much fun,’ as she collaborates with Choi.

The Korean-American chef, who shot to fame as the creator of the gourmet Korean-Mexican taco truck Kogi, then remarks: ‘Man, you and I are so similar.

‘We should have met a long time ago.’

Meghan then asks her guest whether he listens to music while cooking.

‘I listen to a lot of lyrical jazz, hip-hop,’ he tells the Duchess of Sussex, before adding: ‘Sometimes speed metal, death metal.’

‘No, you don’t,’ Meghan responds, looking shocked. ‘What’s speed metal?’

When he tells her ‘it’s just like dark [metal], she reacts: ‘That doesn’t sound like the joy of cooking.’

But she admits ‘we’re all multi-faceted folks’ when Choi tells her: ‘We all have different sides to who are.’

The pair share a laugh when Choi quips speed metal ‘is good for when you’re butchering’.

Meghan, who announced her Netflix series at the start of the year, reshared the sneak-peek to her Instagram Stories with the caption: ‘Thanks to my fellow Angeleno, Chef Roy Choi.

‘Had the best time having you on the show.

‘Can’t wait for all of you to see it.’

The Duchess’ new show is set to be released on Tuesday, March 4, having been delayed from its initial premiere date of January 15 after devastating wildfires ripped through Los Angeles.

Yesterday, the Duchess shared a ‘backstage video’ from ‘With Love, Meghan’ on her newly-launched Instagram account before the video appeared to be taken down.

The 14-second clip featured a short cameo from her husband Prince Harry, and the couple’s beloved beagle Guy – whose death was announced by Meghan last month.

In the video, the Duchess can be seen showing off her dance moves and sharing lighthearted moments with crew members and some of the guests who will feature.

After it was deleted, the short clip was reposted on X before a seemingly identical version of the teaser was later reuploaded to her social media without explanation.

Meghan captioned the post: ‘Six more days until our show launches on @Netflix! Celebrating the crew and everyone who helped make this happen! The countdown begins.’

The new series will see the Duchess ‘reimagine the genre of lifestyle programming’ as she and her guests roll ‘up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same’, according to Netflix promotional material.

A previous trailer for the series in January showed Meghan inviting friends and guests to a California estate where she shares cooking, gardening and hosting tips.

Other guests include The Office star Mindy Kaling, Alice Waters, ‘with additional acclaimed chefs and special friends’ – and there will be eight episodes, each lasting 33 minutes.

According to an article on Netflix’s Tudum website, Meghan and Choi ‘whip up a delicious meal of Korean fried chicken and reminisce about growing up in Los Angeles’ in their episode.

The series was announced at the start of January – a day after she returned to Instagram for the first time since 2020.

Meghan wrote: ‘I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it.

‘Wishing you all a fantastic new year! Thanks to our amazing crew and the team @netflix. Beyond grateful for the support – and fun!’

A promotional synopsis of the show says: ‘This inspiring series, produced by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, reimagines the genre of lifestyle programming, blending practical how-tos and candid conversation with friends, new and old.

‘Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected.

‘She and her guests roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same.’

Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Productions helped to make the series and she also gets a credit as one of its executive producers.
