Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour had an unexpected connection to the 2025 Oscars.

On Sunday’s broadcast, a viewer noticed that a few of Taylor Swift’s backup dancers had previously appeared on stage during Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo’s performance of the “Wicked” medley.

“Oh my! Just noticed, two of #taylorswift #erastour dancers are working the #oscars!” the viewer wrote alongside a still of Sam McWilliams and Jan Ravnik in costume on the Oscars stage at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Calif.

Several other Swifties also noticed the men, both of whom were dancers on Swift’s record-breaking tour from 2023 to 2024.

“Is that Sam and Jan?” asked an X user.

“I recognized Jan immediately but didn’t realize Sam’s there too! Jan is also in the James Bond tribute, it’s so cool to see them doing amazing things like this!” added another.

“Jan and Sam! Ahhhh ❤️❤️❤️,” said a third person.

Swift was noticeably absent from the Academy Awards on Sunday, and she and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, did not show up for the star-studded Vanity Fair afterparty either.

The couple, who went public with their relationship in September 2023, have kept a low profile since the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and his teammates lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2025 Super Bowl last month.

However, Page Six exclusively reported that the “Cruel Summer” singer and Kelce, both 35, secretly enjoyed a private, romantic getaway together somewhere internationally.

“Taylor and Travis had a really nice time reconnecting after a very busy year,” an insider told us last month.

“Taylor and Travis have stepped out for a date night since returning to the US but went unnoticed when they did so,” the source added.

“They weren’t photographed or anything and enjoyed a low-key night out on the town together.”
