PEOPLE are calling out MSNBC host Nicole Wallace for her “repulsive” comments about a 13-year-old cancer patient.

Wallace said she hopes DJ Daniels, a 13-year-old brain cancer patient who was honored by Donald Trump last night, doesn’t become another “suicide” statistic.

During an address to Congress last night, Trump honored Daniels, who had been battling brain cancer for six years, by swearing him in as an honorary Secret Service agent.

Daniels had always hoped to become a cop, but unfortunately, his cancer battle has made that dream feel impossible.

The young boy and his family were told that he only had five months to live at the time of his diagnosis; however, six years later, he’s still alive.

Last night’s heartfelt moment had the audience teary-eyed as they watched Daniels lifted by his father as he was presented with a Secret Service badge from Director Sean Curran.

Today, Wallace decimated those bittersweet emotions by telling viewers of her show that she hoped Daniels wouldn’t lose his life to suicide.

The MSNBC host said she “felt joy” and was overcome with emotion when Daniels was held up by his father.

“I hope he’s alive for another 95 years and I hope he lives the life he wants to live. He wants to be a cop, he knows what he wants to do and maybe when you have childhood cancer that crystallizes for you,” Wallace said.

“I hope he has a long life as a law enforcement officer, but I hope he never has to defend the United States capitol against Donald Trump’s supporters and if he does, I hope he isn’t one of the six who loses his life to suicide.”

Wallace continued her January 6, 2021, references by saying she hopes that Daniels never has to “testify against the people who carried out acts of seditious conspiracy and then lives to see Donald Trump pardon those people.”

Wallace’s cohosts, including Rachel Maddow, nodded in solemn agreement to everything the host was saying.

Social media users were not so forgiving.

“This is the most repulsive thing I’ve heard uttered from someone’s mouth,” one X user wrote with a quote of the video.

“How dare Nicole Wallace politicize DJ’s situation. Leave the kids alone!”

Other users call for the host to be fired from the network for her insensitive comments.

“This chick on MSNBC  (Nicole Wallace) needs to be fired for saying she hopes a 13-year-old cancer patient doesn’t kill himself,” one X user wrote.

The post received over 200 comments and 800 reposts of users demanding the network do something about her statement.

“If you don’t fire Nicole Wallace after this , you don’t have a shred of integrity left in your company,” one user replied, tagging MSNBC and NBC News.

“What she said is despicable and should never be tolerated in a civilized society.”

News Now accused the host of “hijacking” DJ’s moment to push her own “suicide narrative.”

“I never wish for anything bad to happen to people but MSNBC has gone too far and Nicolle needs to be fired immediately,” one News Now follower replied to the post.

“She is exactly what is wrong with MSNBC. Anyone advertising for them which I will name later needs to stop.”
