The Material Girl knows a major piece of jewelry when she sees it.
Madonna held her annual Oscars afterparty with manager Guy Oseary following the awards show, where paper eyes cascaded from the ceiling at the exclusive gathering. However, what truly stood out was the 79.29-carat aquamarine adorning the superstar’s neck.
Known as the “Looking Glass Necklace,” this exclusive piece boasts a unique design with 38 diamonds encircling the stunning center stone and adorning the 18-karat gold chain. The necklace comes with a price tag of $32,000.
The luxury jewelry brand posted pictures of Madonna wearing the piece on Instagram, and fans immediately fell in love with it.
“One of my favs! This is perfection,” one user wrote in the comment section. “Spectacular,” another added.
Madonna paired the extra-large gemstone with an Ann Demeulemeester look complete with a black lace bustier, silk maxi skirt and baby pink rope belt.
Underneath, the pop star rocked black fishnet tights and lace-up boots.
The necklace wasn’t the only over-the-top accessory Madonna showed off at the star-studded party.
During the event, Madonna sported a personalized Gucci bag featuring an embroidered dragon on one side and the name of her popular song, “Like a Virgin,” on the other side.
Demi Moore, Mikey Madison, Adrien Brody, Zoe Saldaña, Mick Jagger and Olivia Wilde were among the many stars at Madonna’s exclusive afterparty, which was presented by Gucci and Capital One.
