Trump impersonator who trolled Alec Baldwin is 'abusive monster,' ex says

A comedian, known as Jason Scoop, who gained fame for impersonating Donald Trump and recently taunted Alec Baldwin was reported to have committed domestic violence against his former girlfriend. According to court documents, the comedian, whose real name is Jason Szkup, admitted to breaking his ex-girlfriend Keanu Thompson’s wrist in a fit of jealousy sparked by a text from another male comic.

And he allegedly attacked another ex under eerily similar circumstances, the woman claimed to The Post.

Jason Szkup, aged 33, from Long Island, specifically Levittown, confessed to charges of domestic violence against Keanu Thompson in Manhattan Criminal Court in December 2021. This information was obtained from records examined by The Post.

The pair dated for two years until Feb. 7, 2021, when Szkup allegedly snapped after his girlfriend received a text from a male comedian.

Szkup screamed at her, spit on her, and stomped on her right wrist until it broke, according to the initial incident report.

Thompson, also a comedian, reported Szkup to the police on April 13, two months after the incident. She was granted an order of protection.

“He’s a violent, abusive monster,” Thompson told The Post. “He’s disturbed and deranged and gets off on hitting women.”

“He’s a frightening dude, and young women and men need to know about him,” Thompson said. “I know first-hand what he’s capable of, and its not good.”

She continued: “If it happened to me, it has happened before and it can and it will happen to somebody else unless people know about it.”

A court source said Szkup’s record was sealed after he finished court-ordered probation imposed by a judge after his 2021 plea.

Thompson, the victim, disclosed that Szkup had a history of violent behavior throughout their relationship. Despite his appearances on TV shows like “Dana Carvey’s First Impressions” and being cast in the pilot of VH-1’s “Nasty Women,” Szkup was prone to angry and aggressive outbursts.

Thompson alleged Szkup slapped her in the face in December of 2018, and accused him of breaking her glasses during an argument in June 2019. In 2020, he allegedly punched her hard in the back, records show.

“You almost don’t see it coming, and there would be no way of even fighting back,” she said, noting the “unfunny” Szkup would apologize profusely after the incidents — promising to seek therapy.

“When I met him, I was a young comic, and I didn’t know the rumors about him. I was trapped in a situation I couldn’t get out of, and I worry about him being around young women.”

Another ex, Alex, told The Post she briefly dated Szkup, but ended the relationship in 2015, after she claimed he attacked her when she too received a text message.

“I got a text message, and he absolutely started flipping out,” Alex told The Post. “He started going crazy, so I said, ‘Get the f–k out and never come back.’”

Instead, “he punched me in the face, threw me down to the ground, started spitting on me, and I was trying to crawl to get up when he stomped on my phone, and cracked the screen.” He then allegedly grabbed her hair, and slammed her into a door jamb, fracturing her orbital socket, she claimed.

Alex provided The Post with photos of her battered face, and medical records confirming her injuries.

“That night, he took my phone and took my apartment keys and held it hostage and would not leave,” she said. “I went and locked myself in my room and was hoping this motherf—r would get out.”

He apologized the next morning, returned her keys and phone, and left, she claimed. She never called police. “I didn’t want to deal with him anymore,” she said. “I just wanted to move on. I didn’t want to be part of this anymore.”

Five Big Apple clubs have barred Szkup from taking their stages for his inappropriate behavior.

Last week, Baldwin threatened to snap Szkup’s neck during the trolling incident, and he’s pulled similar stunts for clicks, including a provocation with “Taxi Driver” actor Robert DeNiro. It generated 3 million views on X.

Szkup declined to comment.
