The OMG Girlz and Heiress Harris were among the honorees at the “Women Making History Atlanta” event on Friday, March 7, 2025.

Hosted by District 10 Council member Andrea L. Boone in collaboration with Media Girls Network and Girl Boss Suites, the event celebrated the achievements of women entrepreneurs and rising stars, providing a platform for empowerment, networking, and growth.

The OMG Girlz, formed in 2009 by Tameka “Tiny” Harris, were honored for their trailblazing role in the music industry. The group gained early success with hits like “Can’t Stop Loving You,” “Where the Boys At?” and “Gucci This (Gucci That).”

Today, the trio—Zonnique Pullins, Bahja Rodriguez, and Breaunna Womack—continues to inspire fans worldwide.

Upon receiving their award, Bahja took to Instagram to express her gratitude, writing: “So happy that OMG was honored by the city of Atlanta today! What a privilege it is to be selected amongst multiple women from our city who have been impactful and influential. Thank you to our team and everybody who made this happen! All glory to God!”

In addition to The OMG Girlz, the event recognized Heiress Harris as a “rising star.”

Taking the stage with confidence beyond her years, Heiress thanked the audience, saying, “I just wanted to say thanking you so much for honoring me and choosing me for this award.”

She also gave a shoutout to The OMG Girlz, saying, “I want to thank my sisters,” before expressing gratitude to her family and team. Not too shabby for someone still in elementary school!

For Tameka “Tiny” Harris, the afternoon was a full-circle moment as she watched both her daughters, Zonnique and Heiress, shine.

The proud mom shared on Instagram, “Today was a great day!
