“We’re doing very well considering everything and she’s a little superstar,” Ms Coburn told Today.

The couple drive to the hospital through the wild weather.

“To be honest, I wasn’t even thinking about the cyclone, apart from when we were driving in and were going through the crazy winds and rain,” Ms Coburn said.

“But once we got to the hospital I was just like, we were in a different world.”

“It was all a bit of a whirlwind, to be honest,” Mr Coburn said.

“There were no cars on the road. The weather was deteriorating.”

Mr Corburn said they had considered naming the baby Alfie, if it was a boy, but that wasn’t to do with the cyclone.

“That is true – the cyclone was just a coincidence. I am a mad Brisbane Broncos fan, wanting to name him after Alfie Langer.”

However, Ms Coburn said she was “happy she’s a girl.”
