A dissatisfied lady has called out a vendor on social media after receiving an eye brush set different from what was advertised.

The lady took to X (formerly Twitter) to share her experience, expressing frustration over the discrepancy. She insisted that she paid for the exact set displayed in the advert but received something entirely different.

Despite her complaints, the vendor defended the order, stating that the advertised image was “just a photo” and that the delivered product was the actual eye brush set described in the listing.

Sharing screenshots of her conversation with the vendor, the lady wrote:

“Here to call out @zikelcosmetics because tell me how I ordered the first picture and they delivered the second one (apparently an eye brush set) and said the photo displayed is ‘just a photo’—that they wrote ‘eye brush set’ there. Mind you, one of the brushes in the set they sent is repeated like five times.”

Her post quickly gained traction online, attracting numerous reactions from social media users who flooded the comment section with their thoughts on the matter.

See some reactions below:

@DoyinSoExtra: “Even if its an eye brush, then they should be 22 pieces as advertised???”

@_ayebatari: “The brush set isn’t even complete!”

@meziemjanet: “‘it’s just a photo’ are they deranged? is the photo not supposed to be a pictorial representation of what is being sold???”

@temmytopee_: “Product picture is suppose to be a pictorial representation of the product been sold, so why are getting a different product from what is been displayed and what is dat reply ?? This people can be real abeg.”

@hugabiola: “Since it is just a picture It is just money that the customer paid They can just collect their brushes And just refund the customers money.”

@_tideaina: “There’s only so many types of eye brushes you can have, so a 22 piece set would have repeat brushes. But they’re very wrong to have displayed that picture because anyone new to makeup or not paying close attention would definitely make the same mistake. They’re at fault.”

@thebarakah_: “Are they mad? What do you mean 22 pieces of eye brushes? Did you tell them you wanted to use it for giveaway? This is why I always go to the store to see for myself. Most of them pictures on their site na click bait.”
