Her ex-boyfriend Junior Perez Diaz, 46, has been charged with kidnapping and murdering her.

The pair were in a relationship for around three years.

But, chilling details surrounding Alcantara’s final hours have emerged.

Alcantara was reportedly blocked from leaving her Bronx apartment for 15 hours, as reported by The CW affiliate WPIX-TV.

And cops told prosecutors Perez Diaz was seen carrying the suitcase containing Alcantara’s body.

Perez Diaz reportedly put the case on a dolly before putting it in his car.

Perez Diaz initially told officers that Alcantara left the apartment wearing pajamas and carrying a suitcase.

However, his version of events was not accurate, according to police.

Alcantara’s body had been stuffed inside the suitcase and it was found in a marsh area, as reported by the ABC affiliate WABC-TV.

Her head and body were covered in bruises.

Peguero noticed that Alcantara’s Facebook page looked odd as all that was on it was her profile picture.

Alcantara’s family also noted that she didn’t really speak about her relationship with Perez Diaz.

“She never complained about it,” her aunt Isa Peguero told the NBC affiliate WNBC-TV.

Isa claimed that Alcantara was “afraid” to speak out.

Peguero claimed that Perez Diaz put a recording device on her car.

Alcantara was in the process of moving out of the apartment.

Perez Diaz has also been charged with manslaughter.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges and will appear in court on Monday.
