Tamra Judge slammed Karen Huger’s court statement after her sentencing for driving under the influence, as Tamra claimed she didn’t “take accountability.” Meanwhile, Dolores Catania said Karen’s story about another person in the car was “bulls**t,” and suggested she should be “glad [she] didn’t kill someone.”

Last month, Karen was sentenced to one year in prison after the Real Housewives of Potomac star was found guilty of driving intoxicated. At the time, a prosecutor confirmed that this was her fourth DUI. During the trial, a police body cam footage showed Karen in what seemed to be an obviously drunken state as she argued with an officer. At one point in the footage, Karen suggested that another man drove the car but left the scene before the cops arrived.

In her recently released court statement, Karen seemingly implied that her behavior was irresponsible only because she was drinking while on medication.

“Karen’s full court statement, audio released, came out,” said Tamra on Two Ts in a Pod. “All of her statements kind of don’t take accountability.”

“I’m not impressed with any of it actually,” said Dolores. “There was no denying what she did. It was not her first offense. Why did she bring this to trial?”

“And then listening to her say ‘all my prior DUIs’ — it’s like, damn!” Tamra later added. “Four?! … Do you think she had bad legal counsel?”

“No. I think she was cocky,” answered Dolores. “And who’s the person in the car? Where did they go? Bulls**t. Take the year and be glad you didn’t kill someone. Cause we could be having a really different conversation right now.”

Following her sentencing, an audio of Karen’s court statement was released by NBC4.

“Drinking responsibly, especially while taking medications, mean[s] not drinking at all. I failed at that miserably. I understand how lucky I am that I hit a tree. Thank God I did not hit a pedestrian,” said Karen in court. “I was spared because I have a responsibility to use my optic lens and teach others and affect quite possibly millions of people with the message of not drinking and driving.”

The latest season of Real Housewives of Potomac recently concluded.
