REPORT: RHONY Producers Are Casting for "New Ladies" as They Decide Who Will Return and Who Will Be Fired Ahead of Season 16

The Real Housewives of New York City may look different if and when it returns to Bravo for its 16th season.

According to a source, producers of the long-running Bravo series, which concluded its 15th season with a messy feud between Ubah Hassan, 41, and Brynn Whitfield, 39, are currently casting for “potential new ladies” as they decide “who is [coming] back and who isn’t.”

“It depends on who they find,” the insider explained to Us Weekly on March 7. “It’s unclear on how many cast members they are looking for — and who may stay or who may go. Producers are always putting feelers out to see if they can find anyone new.”

Toward the end of the airing of season 15, which also included Jenna Lyons, 56, Sai De Silva, 44, Erin Lichy, 37, Jessel Taank, 45, and Racquel Chevremont, 53, a casting call from Shed Casting, which works on RHONY, was shared on Instagram.

“It’s that time…Come and get your apple,” the company wrote, adding that they were on the hunt for residents in Brooklyn and Manhattan who have an “organic connection to someone on the cast.”

After Brynn boldly accused Ubah of mocking her past experience with sexual assault before later admitting Ubah may not have known about it, a number of cast members distanced themselves from her. In fact, from what has been shared publicly, Brynn may be estranged from the entire cast.

While appearing on Watch What Happens Live in January, Jenna shaded Brynn for going “too far” as she confirmed that the cast hadn’t been in contact with her since the reunion.

“I think that there had been things along the way with Brynn that have made me unclear about her intentions, and some of the things that have been said, but I also know that she is someone who embellishes, and so I have chalked it up to that many times, and I have tenderness around that,” she noted. “[But] it’s one thing to talk about yourself and embellish. It’s another thing to embellish stories that then hurt other people.”

Sai also offered a recent update on where she stands with Brynn after a fan on Instagram asked, “Are you [and] Brynn friends??”

“We haven’t seen one another outside the show since 2023,” Sai replied in February.

Meanwhile, Jessel told Page Six that if she and Brynn were to reconcile, a “lot of work” would need to be done.

“I think [our relationship is] definitely broken. There’s going to be a lot of work that has to be done to get her trust back, and I think a lot of the girls feel that way,” she explained.
