Senate Dems, Others Agitate for Release of Hamas Supporter Mahmoud Khalil - Trump Fires Back

On Sunday, we reported on the arrest and pending repatriation of one Mahmoud Khalil, a Hamas-supporting agitator who has been attending Columbia University on a student visa. As we reported, Khalil has been detained, his visa and green card revoked, and he will be sent back to where he came from.

Now, Democrats from the Senate Judiciary Committee are announcing they are in favor of releasing Khalil — did we mention that he’s a Hamas-supporting agitator? Their X post is three words:

Free Mahmoud Khalil.

President Trump was quick on the reply:

“This is the first arrest of many to come.” —President Trump

Earlier today, President Trump took to his Truth Social platform with more details:

The president’s post continues:

We will find, apprehend, and deport these terrorist sympathizers from our country — never to return again. If you support terrorism, including the slaughtering of innocent men, women, and children, your presence is contrary to our national and foreign policy interests, and you are not welcome here. We expect every one of America’s Colleges and Universities to comply. Thank you!

Supporting Hamas is supporting terrorism.

On Sunday, in the piece linked above, I wrote:

This is a compelling portrait of a Hamas sympathizer, one who sure seems to admire the actions Hamas took on Oct. 7th. That, alone, is reason enough to revoke his student visa and send him back to Beirut or Syria – Khalil attended university in Beirut but was apparently born in Syria, and honestly, the American citizenry is better off with him in either place. He has arguably committed crimes, but there’s no reason to house and feed him at taxpayers’ expense – just kick him out.

And, as the parade of usual suspects continues, we see now that New York Attorney General Letitia James has weighed in:

BREAKING: New York Attorney General Letitia James is “in contact” with the attorney of the student demonstrating in favor of Hamas, who’s being removed by the Trump administration.

Sounds like she is going to try to fight the removal.

“I am extremely concerned about the arrest and detention of Mahmoud Khalil, an advocate and legal permanent resident of Palestinian descent.”

The rest of us, out here in the sane world, are extremely concerned about someone like Mahmoud Khalil, who is not simply an “advocate” but a terrorist sympathizer, remaining in our country. In case you’re wondering, this is the kind of sicko that Mahmoud Khalil supports:
