Giants land Dolphins star safety Jevon Holland in NFL free agency

The Giants are spending lots of money to fix their secondary.

Big Blue is signing former Dolphins safety Jevon Holland to a three-year, $45 million deal, according to NFL Network.

Holland gives the Giants a second presumed new starter in their back-end, alongside ex-Saints cornerback Paul Adebo.

The Giants have spent a total of $99 million to bolster a secondary that disappointed in the previous season with Adebo signing a three-year contract worth $54 million.

Holland, 25, spent the last four years with the Dolphins after being selected in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

During his time with Miami, Adebo played in 57 games and managed to secure five interceptions. Although he wasn’t able to intercept any passes in the last season, he contributed with 62 combined tackles and three tackles for loss.
