Southern Charm's Shep Rose Reveals His Suspicions About Sienna, If He Has Regrets, and Their Secret Split, Plus Reacts to Taylor Suggesting He Got a "Taste of His Own Medicine," and Teases Molly Romance & Reunion

Shep Rose is looking back at the end of his relationship with Sienna Evans.

While also responding to Taylor Ann Green‘s suggestion that he got a “taste of his own medicine,” hinting at a future romance with Molly O’Connell, 37, and teasing the events of the season 10 reunion, the 44-year-old Southern Charm star reflected on the suspicions he had about Sienna, 26, seeing someone else, revealed if he has any regrets about their courtship, and more.

“When things started to fall apart, I was in Charleston, and I was like, ‘What’s going on? You want to take a step back?’ I was like, ‘That’s the exact opposite of how we were talking for the past months,’” Shep recalled on the March 13 episode of Access Hollywood‘s Housewives Nightcap. “I had my suspicions that there was somebody else, which, by the way, would’ve been okay if she had said [that]. But she was sort of circumspect and mealy-mouthed about how she felt.”

Although Shep admitted to being embarrassed by the demise of his romance, he said he has no regrets.

“I was exactly how I am at all times, which is completely open … I wouldn’t have done anything differently,” he confirmed.

That said, he did admit to having second thoughts about his long-winded text.

“I should’ve abbreviated the text,” he laughed. “I got a little verbose there. But the thing was, I couldn’t sleep. But I said what I wanted to say. I don’t really care what anyone thinks about the text or if it makes them cringe. I was just trying to express myself.”

According to Shep, he was hook, line, and sinker with Sienna due to the over-the-top nature of their relationship.

“It was a super passionate relationship, and part of it was we were going to really cool places, beautiful places together for days at a time, and having so much fun. So there wasn’t really a downtime moment,” he noted. “We never watched TV with our pajamas on. We were just always on the run.”

“She’s extremely attractive and from a different country and has a little accent — it was just a lot,” he added.

Shep then revealed that what fans may not have known was that he and Sienna actually called it quits and got back together before they were featured on the show.

“We split up, Sienna and I did, halfway through our six-month courtship because of a difference of … I didn’t see the world the way [she did],” he revealed. “And she was like, ‘Okay,’ and I was like, ‘Let’s take a step back.’ And then after three or four weeks, we didn’t talk, and she sent a couple pictures of us together and was like, ‘I want to see you again. I don’t feel this strongly very often.’ And I was like, ‘Oh my God, I felt the same way. Maybe there’s a way we can work through this.’”

“The red flags, they were there, but I was intoxicated,” he confessed.

While there have been gold digger claims made against Sienna, Shep said he didn’t believe she was after his money.

“I don’t think I have enough. That’s the issue. 100 percent. I know it,” he declared.

Regarding the idea that he received a “taste of his own medicine,” Shep said, “That’s absolutely valid.”

“This is good for me, honestly. Not in the moment, but after the fact. I got humbled. That causes growth,” he explained. “[And] I don’t fault Taylor for saying that.”

“I do probably deserve it many times over for some of the flippant behavior I’ve shown in the romantic arena over the years. But, again, this was a little more harsh cuz it was just sort of a shock to the system. It came out of nowhere,” he continued.

Despite his season 10 heartache, Shep said he’s hopeful that he will one day settle down.

“I am, and I think part of that is just a reset of your life, which I think would be a lovely thing, especially right now,” he shared. “I’ve had a lot of fun … and I would love to continue to do that, but at a certain point, it becomes redundant.”

As for whether his future involves Molly, Shep teased, “Stay tuned.”

Also during the interview, Shep revealed what went down at the recently-taped reunion.

“It wasn’t a lot of fireworks, but it was some deep-seated things that needed to be said. There wasn’t a lot of screaming, but there [were] some moments where I was like, ‘Oh,’ just some deep cuts, basically, and getting to the root of things,” he explained. “And I think that’s a testament to us, dare I say maturing, over the past 10 seasons.”

“Losing your temper isn’t where a lot of us want to exist these days,” he added.

Southern Charm season 10 airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
