AUSTELL, Ga. () Six Flags Over Georgia is opening back up on Saturday, March 15th and they’re debuting their newest roller coaster – the Georgia Gold Rusher.

The ride has several exciting new features and NewsChannel 6’s own thrill seeker, Brandon Dawson, headed down to the park to see what the new attraction was all about.

Give me the rundown about what this ride is all about.

“It’s the first ride to feature free spinning gondolas, which we’re sitting in right now, it’s the second tallest roller coaster in the park, it speeds up to 60 miles per hour, dynamic water features,” said Public Relations Manager, Chris Foshee.

This is the park’ 13th coaster, with inspiration coming from Georgia’s historic 1885 Gold Rush.
