TOLONO, Ill. (WCIA) — The rubble that’s left from a Tolono house –which caught fire twice last week — reignited again Tuesday.
According to Kyle Hayden, Assistant Fire Chief at the Tolono Fire Protection District, the rubble caught fire at the same house, which is located on County Road 1350 East, that caught fire both last Thursday and Friday. The initial fire at that residence came one day after Tolono Fire issued a burn ban.
The first fire caused minimal damage, but when it reignited on Friday, the whole house was engulfed in flames. The fire took an hour to put out, and despite no injuries being reported, the home was deemed a total loss.
On Tuesday, what was left of the house caught fire later in the afternoon. WCIA reached out to the Tolono Fire Protection District for more details and is awaiting a response.
