Olivia Culpo revealed she had quite the scare during the first trimester of her pregnancy when she began “bleeding everywhere” due to a blood clot in her uterus.

“I have been on bed rest for [two weeks] and before that I had pneumonia, so I was sick also for two weeks. I’ve been truly on bed rest for four weeks,” she said in a TikTok video posted Wednesday, which she shared was filmed in December 2024 when she was 9 weeks along.

“Towards the end of the two weeks of being really sick, I got a subchorionic hematoma, which is basically a blood clot in my uterus,” she continued. “And I was bleeding everywhere.”

Per the Cleveland Clinic, the condition occurs “when blood forms between the wall of your uterus and the chorionic membrane during pregnancy.”

“So at this point, I was so exhausted [from] two weeks of just not being able to move,” she said. “And now, all of a sudden, just like purging. It was like a lot. It was a heavy [bleeding].”

The former pageant queen, 32, explained that she “went to the doctor and it was exciting to see that there was still a heartbeat.”

Culpo went on to reveal that she started using “a lot” of progesterone suppositories to help “keep the environment best for the baby.”

Despite the scary ordeal, the model said she was “really grateful that everything’s going well so far.”

Reps for Culpo did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for further comment.

Last week, the influencer announced she’s expecting her first child with husband Christian McCaffrey.

Culpo showed off her growing baby bump in maternity photos on Instagram, captioning the post, “next chapter, motherhood.”

She also included several shots with her husband as they posed in a sunny field.

The “Culpo Sisters” star and the San Francisco 49ers running back, 28, have been together since 2019.

On Saturday, the mom-to-be shared why she believes she might be expecting a baby boy.

She shared some of her pregnancy symptoms on TikTok as potential indicators of her baby’s sex.

Although she was showing more signs for a girl, like morning sickness and acne, Culpo said her “intuition” was telling her she was having a boy.
