So far, there’s quite a bit going on with the newest season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. However, two of the biggest talking points involve Porsha Williams. One concerns the status of her friendship with Shamea Morton, and the other comes as a result of her ex, Dennis McKinley, filming scenes with Drew Sidora as he helps her record and release music. 

Fans of RHOA know that Porsha and Drew have already gone head-to-head this season over Dennis. This led Dennis to even shade Drew on social media and call for her to shoot down rumors of them being more than professional partners. 

Recently, Porsha hosted an Instagram live session where she spoke about some of the issues that have already arisen this season. Luckily, The Jasmine Brand was able to capture it. A fan asked her to comment on Kandi Burruss having commented on her friendship with Shamea. She begins, “I don’t know if Kandi said I didn’t like Shamea. I think what Kandi said was she doesn’t believe we’re as cool as we used to be, and yes, that’s true.”

She went on, “When you come on the show and you have certain expectations and then things seem to turn on you without you knowing, that can change any relationship, but I don’t think Kandi said anything like that. Don’t be trying to stir things up, now.”

Someone else asked why Porsha didn’t help promote Shamea’s new music online. She responded, “Well, she didn’t send it to me to post. I guess Shamea sent it to everybody, but she didn’t send it to me, so I didn’t have it to post.”

Regarding Drew filming with Dennis, Porsha said, “I think Drew… a lot of ya’ll didn’t want Drew back on the show, so I think coming into this season, she had her readymade storyline with baby daddy, and they knew I would react, because who wouldn’t?”

She went on, “If somebody is trying to film behind your back you’re going to have something to say. I mean if I was filming with Ralph and she found out she would be like ‘wait a minute, why didn’t you just give me a heads up.’ So yes, if we’re doing business together, she works for me, I just expect a courtesy call that you’re gonna start a whole other storyline of filming with Dennis.”

Porsha then addressed Drew having done a photoshoot for Go Naked hair without her permission. She said, “If you’re going to do a photo shoot that’s beyond content online, you should tell the owner of the company. Drew just does what she thinks she gotta do to stay on the show. I’m not mad at her anymore.”

Porsha also shared that she saw Drew recently and that they were fine. She added, “Drew gon’ be Drew. Let Drew be Drew. Support her music.” She also said to go and support Shamea’s music.
