Kristin Cavallari is living with her arms wide open.

After spending years keeping her and ex-husband Jay Cutler‘s son Camden‘s face off social media, the Hills alum is giving into the 12-year-old’s request to be more active online and sharing a rare glimpse of him to her 4.9 million Instagram followers.

“OK, we’re trying Hattie B’s for the first time,” Kristin said in a March 21 video posted to Instagram Stories. “Never had it after all these years.”

The clip showed the Uncommon James founder—who shares Camden, as well as kids Jaxon, 10, and Saylor, 9, with Jay—seated with a tray of fried chicken Nashville-based eatery. Before taking a bite, Kristin asked her oldest son, “Is it hot?”

Camden replied as he chowed down on his own piece of chicken, “Not really.”

In the end, the mother-son duo gave their stamp of approval, with Kristin writing in the caption, “Date night.”

She added in a selfie of the pair with their tray of food, “Wait, honestly, so freakin good.”
