Insiders have dismissed romance rumors, saying the Friends alum and Gladiator II star are not dating. The sources’ simple reason for their appearance together, ahead.
Aniston and Pascal aren’t dating, relationship is ‘platonic’
Sorry, sparks aren’t flying between two of Hollywood’s biggest stars. Sources with direct knowledge told TMZ nothing is going on between Aniston and Pascal. It comes after they were photographed outside the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, Calif., on March 22, 2025.
Aniston and Pascal were spotted talking in the hotel’s valet area after having dinner at the Tower Bar. The meal lasted three hours per Page Six. Fans quickly speculated online that they were dating. However, sources told the outlet that’s not the case, noting they were there with a group of people.
Rather, sources said the two are “just friends with lots of mutual friends,” per the publication. “Things are platonic, as has been the case between them for years now.” So, no budding romance for Aniston, 56, and Pascal, 49.
Pascal is known to keep his love life private. However, in years past he’s been romantically linked to fellow actors, including Maria Dizzia, Robin Tunney, and Lena Headey. Meanwhile, Aniston has two high-profile marriages—and divorces—to her name. She was famously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005. In 2015, Aniston tied the knot with Justin Theroux, who recently remarried, before divorcing in 2018.

So what were Pascal and Aniston doing together? While insiders said they simply share a lot of the same friends, some fans online pointed to what happened when the two crossed paths on the red carpet at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards.
Namely how Reese Witherspoon, Aniston’s co-star on the Apple TV+ original series The Morning Show, told Pascal about a “really good part” for him on the show. Spoiler: he didn’t even have to think about whether or not to accept.
“Pitch it to me now,” he said at the time. “I’m in. I’ll be waiting to hear from my agents. Draw it up. Send me a script. Or just pitch it to me in the room.”
Asked if Pascal could be a love interest on The Morning Show, which he interpreted as “sleep[ing] with everyone on the show,” Aniston remarked, “It’s kind of real life.”
So there’s a chance sparks could fly between Pascal and Aniston, but—and it’s a big but—it may only be on TV if he ultimately did sign on to make an appearance on the Emmy Award-winning series. For now, the two are just friends who occasionally have a leisurely dinner together with friends.
