THIS is the horrifying moment a plane passenger shoves her dog into a tiny carry-on bag in a desperate attempt to get her pet onto the flight.

The woman was filmed forcing the dog’s head into the bag in the video shared on TikTok.

The shocking footage shows the woman at the flight gate, waiting to board the plane alongside her pet pooch.

An airport employee approaches the dog owner and tells her that she must have a carrier the dog can comfortably fit in.

In response the woman unzips a tiny pink carry-on bag and begins shoving her dog – who is clearly too big to fit – inside.

She even pushes the poor pooch’s head down in an attempt to zip it up.

The pair can be heard arguing in the video about the airline’s requirements.

The employee said: “You can’t fly like that. The dog has to be able to move a full circle, which she cannot do in that carrier.”

The video quickly went viral, with furious TikTok users rushing to the dog’s defence.

One user commented: “She literally folded the dog in the carrier…poor dog.”

Another wrote: “That dog didn’t even wanna go in there.”

While another added: “It’s no way that dog making a full circle in that bag. Poor pup!!!”

Other users seemed fed up with people travelling with their dogs altogether.

One user wrote: “Can y’all leave y’all dogs at home or drive? In the restaurants, grocery stores, planes and trains. It’s out of hand.”

Another added: “I understand ppl love their animals I get it! But there’s a time & place for everything.”

Small pets are able to travel in the cabin of the plane with their owners, but must be in carriers.

Most US airlines also require health certificates and an airline reservation.

This comes after a plane passenger cruelly drowned her dog to avoid missing her flight back in March.

Alison Agatha Lawrence, 57, drowned her poodle, after it unable to board the plane due to incorrect paperwork.

Rather than calling friends or family to pick up the dog, Lawrence decided to kill the animal and dump its body in the trash.

Lawrence has now been arrested and charged with aggravated animal cruelty.
