CSRA () – Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC), the liquid waste contractor at Savannah River Site, donated $15,000 to support the STEM curriculum at Lamar-Milledge Elementary School.

SRMC President and Program Manager Dr. Dave Olson said the gift is meant to benefit students in Richmond County.

“This donation to Lamar-Milledge Elementary School is an investment in our future,” said Olson. “SRMC strives to reach students in elementary school because the foundation to success starts early, and we want to inspire these students at an early age by providing resources to spark an interest in STEM education.”

“This donation is going directly to the students who need it most and allows the school to delve into the county’s science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STE(A)M) Initiative,” said Lamar-Milledge Elementary School Principal Eric Lewis.
