Two suspects wanted for Aggravated Assault, Attempted Armed Robbery in Augusta

AUGUSTA () – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two suspects wanted for aggravated assault and attempted armed robbery.

On March 29, 2025, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 3700 Block of Wheeler Road in reference to an attempted armed robbery of an individual.  

According to officials, two suspects walked up to the victim and demanded his chain while displaying handguns. The victim refused and fled.

Authorities say, the suspects chased after the victim and fired shots. There were no reported injuries.

Investigators responded to the scene, and they were able to obtain some still shots of the suspects from a nearby business.

Both subjects possibly frequent the area of Spicewood Drive and should be considered Armed and Dangerous.
