The Kardashian family has been at the center of media attention for decades. From their beginnings in the public eye during the O.J. Simpson trial to Kim’s personal home videos being released, they captivated the public’s fascination. However, their permanent place in pop culture came when the family entered the world of reality television.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians was a hit for nearly two decades. After the show came to an end, a new series, The Kardashians, premiered. However, these haven’t been the only two shows the family has starred in. Throughout their dominance of the genre, there have been several reality spin-offs. In fact, a producer recently asked sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner how they would feel about their own spin-off.

Kendall And Kylie Have Opposing Views On A Possible Spin-Off Series

Many are wondering if a spin-off of The Kardashians with Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner will happen. During a recent episode of The Kardashians, both sisters were spending some quality time together when a producer raised the possibility of a spin-off. The two sisters had some interesting responses.

“It would be fun,” Kylie told the producer. “What if it was like a three-episode spinoff?” Kylie was on board after the producer proposed that the show follow “the adventures of Kylie and Kendall.” “Yeah, I would do that,” she said. Kendall, however, wasn’t so sure. “What would we do?” Kendall asked Kylie, clearly unsure of what the two of them could bring to the table. Kylie replied, “Everything.”

In this particular episode, the sisters reflect on their relationship. As with most siblings, they have plenty of sarcastic comments to throw at each other. A producer asked them how they are opposites of one another, to which Kendall responded, “Oh my God, well the list is long, I feel.” “How are we opposite? I think I’m more free-spirited,” Kylie replied, and Kendall quipped, “Excuse me? I don’t know if that was the right term.” Kylie then asked to “start over,” and Kendall said of Kylie’s free-spirited remark, “I’m gonna lose sleep over that.”

“I think I am unbothered, more easygoing,” Kylie then said after giving it more thought. However, Kendall didn’t like that answer either, so Kylie joked that she was “cooler” than Kendall. Kendall then teased Kylie by saying she was “prettier, more gorgeous” and had a “better body.”

“Kylie, this is insane,” she told her sister. “I wasn’t gonna go there,” Kylie added before complimenting Kendall, saying, “‘Cause like, your face card? Goes hard.” Kendall ended up saying that she is “definitely more regimented” than her sister.

Kendall Was Critical Of The Way Khloé Treated Lamar During Their Reunion

Kendall Jenner could probably offer sister Khloé Kardashian some advice when it comes to interacting with an ex. Kendall spoke with Kylie during a recent episode of The Kardashians about Khloé’s reunion with her ex-husband Lamar Odom. Kendall viewed the footage back, since it was filmed for the show, and came away with some thoughts on what she watched.

While Kendall told Kylie she thought it was “cool to see them together” again, she did admit to having some “personal thoughts” on how her sister handled the situation. “It was kind of sad,” Kendall said. “I think Khloé could’ve been a bit gentler.”

“I feel like I saw something in her that I see with Tristan [Thompson],” she added, referring to Khloé’s most recent ex, with whom she shares two kids. “I’m not taking away what she’s been through, ’cause she’s definitely been through much more than I have in my life, but I think that it was interesting to see how cold she can be.” “I don’t disagree with that,” Kylie replied.

“Khloé felt tense, which is all fair. I’ve never been through what Khloé’s been through, and she’s been through a lot,” Kendall said in a confessional. “But for her sake, I felt like there was a level of forgiveness that was lacking.”

“And I understand there’s parts of her that are uncomfortable, but I’ve seen this reaction with Tristan as well,” she added. “I remember when Tristan and her got friendly again and were co-parenting, she was like, kind of snarky with him around other people, because she almost didn’t wanna be judged by everyone else for being around him because he did bad things.”

The split between Tristan and Khloé happened in 2021 after a two-year relationship. The two were on-and-off due to Tristan’s constant cheating. Kendall told Kylie that she hoped Khloé would “find compassion for him,” both for Lamar and herself. “You can forgive and not forget — that’s okay,” Kendall said.

Kendall even said that the reunion made her cry, which surprised Kylie. “He was so nervous, Kylie, and like he… He showed up with gifts for her,” Kendall said. Kendall said in the confessional that she hadn’t “really” talked to Khloé about the meeting “in-depth but I’d love to sit with her when she gets back.”

The reunion which Khloé met up with Lamar, was the first time the former couple had seen each other in nine years. The reality star first filed for divorce from Lamar in 2013, but paused the filing after his near-fatal drug overdose in 2015. She filed again in 2016.

Khloé revealed in a confessional, “I have dealt with so much trauma in this relationship for years and this was such the love of my life that to learn how to unlove someone — to have to go through all that — it’s almost like a death.” She told viewers that seeing Lamar again was “so familiar and so uncharted, all at the same time. I don’t know this person anymore. It’s just a mindf***.”

Kendall And Kylie Raised The Possibility Of A Spin-Off Over A Decade Ago

Ever since Keeping Up With the Kardashians premiered, there have been various spin-offs. From Kourtney and Kim Take New York to Khloe and Lamar, there have been spin-offs to feed public interest whenever the main show was in between seasons. In a 2012 interview with Seventeen, Kendall said that she had some ideas about a spin-off centered around her and Kylie. According to the reality star, the show would be about “the adventures that we go on.”

“We go on a lot of adventures!” she said. “We do crazy stuff. We will kidnap one of our friends and get a group together and go to Disneyland for the night. We do what we want to do. We’re just like, ‘Let’s make it happen! That sounds so fun!'”

Even though both Kendall and Kylie were just teenagers back then, they were still at the center of media scrutiny. There was even a focus placed on their love lives, with one rumor claiming Kylie was dating Australian singer Cody Simpson. “Cody and I are just good friends. That’s it,” Kylie told the outlet.”But we can say that as much as we want and people will still listen to gossip.”

Knowing they were already dealing with the perils of fame is unbelievable considering they were still navigating issues every teen deals with. “[Now that I can drive], my dad goes crazy,” Kendall admitted. “He automatically thinks I’m sneaking out if I leave the house without telling him. He calls me and asks where I am and I’m like ‘I’m getting food! What do you think I’m doing in the middle of the day?'”

Still, even though they had not even reached adulthood, the sisters were hoping to follow in their big sisters’ footsteps. “If I could trade places with any of my sisters for a day, it would be Kim,” Kendall said. “I want to see what it’s like … The only time she sleeps is when she’s on the airplane. It’s just crazy. I feel bad for her, but I still want to know what it’s like.”

Kylie said that she wanted to pursue an acting career. “I’ve always done videos and plays,” Kylie said. “Every time we make home movies, I put it on. I go all out and hysterically cry and the whole thing. I want to get an acting coach and do some very cool stuff. I seriously want to take it to the next level.”
