SAVANNAH, Ga. () — Historian and Savannah native Hugh Golson will join the Bonaventure Historical Society’s Living History Lecture series to discuss the Laurel Grove Cemetery on Sunday, April 6.

The event will be held in the Jewish Chapel inside Bonaventure Cemetery, located at 330 Bonaventure Road, at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for Bonaventure Historical Society members and $15 for non-members. There is also a livestream option for those who cannot attend in person. Parking is free but limited.

“With Mr. Golson’s expertise, attendees will gain a deeper appreciation for the stories, history, and contributions of those who rest at Laurel Grove, and how their legacy continues to influence Savannah today,” said Pat Alhouse, President of the Bonaventure Historical Society.

Bonaventure Historical Society says attendees should plan to arrive 10 minutes before to allow time to find park.
