Ricky Bell is going to be a dad!

The music legend, best known as a member of New Edition and Bell Biv DeVoe, is expecting his first child with wife Amy Correa Bell. The couple shared t news on Instagram Wednesday, posting a series set of maternity photos that showcased Amy’s growing baby bump.

“Reservation for 3,” Ricky captioned the post, letting the images speak for themselves.

Amy followed up with her own post, simply writing, “Past, Present, Future,” alongside another photo from the shoot.

The announcement was met with an outpouring of love from fans and friends alike.

Ron DeVoe, Ricky’s Bell Biv DeVoe bandmate, couldn’t hold back his excitement. “I’m absolutely overwhelmed with joy knowing you and Ricky will be amazing parents! Thank you for letting the cat out the bag because I was about to burst trying to keep it a secret. Love y’all to life…!” he wrote in the comments.

Ron’s wife, Shamari DeVoe, added her love in the comments, calling the maternity photo her “favorite picture” and sending her support: “Love you guys!”

Teasha Bivins, wife of Michael Bivins—also part of the legendary BBD trio—wrote, “Awww I absolutely love this!! You two will be the best parents! God is good!!”

Actress Meagan Good was also moved by the news, writing,, “This literally just made me cry. Love all 3 of you.”

The pregnancy news comes just seven months after Ricky and Amy celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. The couple, who tied the knot in 2004 in a double wedding with Ricky’s longtime friend and New Edition bandmate Ralph Tresvant, marked the special occasion with a series of loving photos on social media.

The caption read: “By the Grace of God We are Celebrating 20 Years of Love, Friendship & Perseverance! 9/18 is also my @mrrickybell Birthday, Thanks for all the Love.”
