Grant Ellis and Juliana Pasquarosa Spill The Tea On Their ‘Eye-Opening’ Hometown Date

The Bachelor season 29 has officially come and gone, and it looks like Bachelor Nation has a new it couple: Grant Ellis and Juliana Pasquarosa.

During the Bachelor finale — which aired via ABC on Mar. 24 — Grant popped the question to the one and only Juliana, and the pair is still going strong and engaged as of March 2025.

After their proposal finally aired on national television, the two lovebirds sat down with the media to share their plans for the future, as well as how they knew that they had found their perfect match in one another on the reality television series.

Who Is Juliana Pasquarosa?

For those who are unfamiliar, “Juliana is a bubbly, outgoing woman who isn’t afraid to speak her mind and go after what her heart wants,” born and raised in Newton, Massachusetts and currently working as a Client Service Associate.

According to her Bachelor biography, and seen during her Hometown Date, “she comes from a big Italian family and aspires to find a lasting love like her parents have” — because “they were high school sweethearts” — and it looks like she found that lasting love with Grant.

“Whether it’s dancing with friends, going out to museums and sporting events, or hanging in and watching a movie, Juliana has a good time wherever she goes,” and she is so much more than meets the eye.

Ahead of her Bachelor debut, the 28-year-old revealed three fun facts to ABC: she wants to own a dog-friendly bar one day, she was raised on Frank Sinatra music, and she isn’t afraid of heights.

Needless to say, her hobbies and interests are all across the board…

The Bachelor Season 29 Finale Results

Despite allegedly telling runner-up Litia Garr that she was “the one” — and that he had plans to propose to her at the end of the reality television series — Grant ultimately proposed to Juliana come finale night, offering her a Neil Lane engagement ring, as well as the coveted final rose.

Although this decision came with a great deal of backlash — with fans of the franchise questioning Grant’s authenticity via social media and beyond — Grant and Juliana are seemingly as happy as can be. Planning a trip to Italy together (courtesy of Bachelor Nation), as well as planning to move to Boston together, the future is bright for the happy couple!

The two lovebirds elaborated on their timeline in a recent interview with Us Weekly, telling the outlet that they are excited to just “live life together” now that the show has come to a close. Kicking off the conversation, Juliana gushed:

“We have to do some normal things where it feels exciting to plan that. We are coming down from such a crazy high right now. I don’t wanna just try and keep it going — I really want to plateau a bit and just live normally for a minute, and then we can start planning and have fun and do all those things.”

Grant then chimed into the conversation, elaborating on the pair’s decision to move to Juliana’s home state together. He spilled:

“With Jules, her family is her lifeline. That’s what makes her her. So to be like, ‘Oh, let’s go here, go here.’ No, we are gonna [go] where it makes her happy, and I’m going to adjust because I just want to see her happy.”

Nevertheless, in another recent interview with Us Weekly, Grant and Juliana detailed how they knew their relationship was endgame, admitting that their Hometown Date was a major turning point in their relationship.

“The small conversations that we had leading up to Scotland, I really got a good foundation of who you were as a person. Then in Scotland, it allowed me to peel back some layers that I’ve built up. That really was an eye-opening night and date for us,” Juliana explained, prior to delving into the details of the Hometown Date. She continued:

“It was after he met my family — just seeing him with my people and how comfortable you felt — that was important to me, and how accepting they were of what we were really trying to do, which is just choose each other. That was all the reassurance that I needed.”

Grant then shared his point of view, concurring that their Hometown Date sealed the deal. He spilled:

“I started to develop that distance a little bit after hometowns and put together whose family I would fit with more, the environment that I wanted, the vibe that I wanted and the relationship that I wanted.”

“From there, it’s just working up the courage and strength to have to make a decision after you’ve built such a strong relationship with somebody, and then you have to let ’em down,” he concluded, referencing his gut-wrenching breakup with Litia. Yikes!
