Bill Murray, 74, lashed out at a fan in a viral video where the actor threated to step on the moviegoer’s foot for violating his personal space.

The TikTok clip showed the Hollywood actor strolling inside the AMC Lincoln Square movie theater in New York City while fans appeared to gather around him.

After a fan seemingly got too close, Murry can be heard yelling ‘Stop it’ before turning around and pointing his finger.

‘If you attack me like that again, I’ll step on your foot,’ Murray said.

A security guard then intervened and guided Murray toward an escalator as the actor accused the moviegoer of ‘physical assault.’

‘Don’t do it again!’ Murray warned as he walked away from the crowd.

‘You’re not big enough to do that,’ he added as the fan continued to apologize.

The video quickly made the rounds on social media, with the public split on Murray’s behavior.

Many fans came to the actor’s defense, with one comment stating, ‘Bill Murray is well-known for being a kind person in public. I understand why he felt the need to establish a boundary here.’

‘Don’t understand people bothering these people like they’re some kind of gods. They’re actors, just people,’ another agreed.

Some fans shared their experiences meeting the actor, testifying that Murray was kind to them during their interactions.

‘I once witnessed Bill Murray at a Cubs game; he sat in front of us and even bought us a round of beers to thank us for preventing other fans from bothering him. He’s truly a fantastic guy!’ shared another fan.

‘I know Bill M from my childhood in Wilmette Ill and he’s a great guy and someone crossed the line so they must have been very aggressive and annoying,’ a second shared.

However, some comments slammed the actor for the aggressive behavior, with one user calling Murray a ‘Karen.’

‘It looks like Bill Murray attacked the guy behind him,’ another wrote.

Murray and Watts have been on a press tour promoting the new film, recently appearing on an episode of Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live.

During a Q&A segment of the show, Watts was asked who her best on-screen kiss was, which led Murray to grab her and kiss her on air.

Murray became the subject of debate once again, with a flurry of social media users sounding off on the jaw-dropping interaction.

‘I feel so bad for her that she had to pretend to be okay afterwards,’ one commenter wrote.

‘The death grip on her face… poor Naomi,’ another chimed in.

Despite the negative commentary, the two seemed to laugh it off and Watts asked, ‘Did I go red?’

Murray also made headlines recently for his candid commentary on The Howard Stern Show when he revealed what it was like to lose an Oscar in 2004 to Sean Penn after he was favored for the award.

DailyMail.com reached out to Murray’s representatives for comment but didn’t immediately hear back.
