MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WREG) — A Tennessee man wanted on a warrant was arrested after a TikTok video reportedly showed him challenging authorities to find him.

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office says Devon Bart, 25, was found and arrested on Friday after he made a post on social media.

A warrant had been issued for his arrest in connection with a domestic-related assault.

Bart reportedly posted pictures on TikTok challenging deputies to find him. The SCSO says he claimed that if he was going to jail, the authorities would have to find him first.

“We take all warrants and the law very seriously at the Sheriff’s Office,” said Chief Deputy Anthony Buckner. “Evading Deputies is not a game — ignoring the law has serious consequences.”
