Stassi Schroeder's Addition To 'Vanderpump Villa' Is Just The Start Of Her Reality TV Return

Stassi Schroeder is one of reality TV’s most polarizing figures. Her time on Vanderpump Rules was so captivating that many felt the series lost its key member of the group when she left. After five years away from reality TV, Stassi is making a comeback on Hulu.

In the summer of 2024, it was revealed Lisa Vanderpump’s Vanderpump Villa was coming back for a second season. To shake things up, Stassi was added as a main cast member, stunning audiences considering Stassi and Lisa’s love-hate relationship on Bravo. Luckily for fans, the second season brings us a new version of Stassi we’ve missed since 2020, plus other projects for Hulu.

Stassi Schroeder’s Return To Reality TV Is All Thanks To Hulu

Stassi Schroeder is returning to TV this April on Vanderpump Villa’s second season. The series focuses on hospitality and management of an Italian estate run by Bravo’s Lisa Vanderpump. The series has many similarities to Vanderpump Rules, with attractive members of the hospitality business working alongside each other, except these cast members also live together at Lisa’s estate. The drama never fully stays at work because the cast members’ place of work is also their temporary home.

For Season 2, Hulu has switched angles and moved the series to Italy’s Castello Rosato. Season 1 had the cast at Château Rosabelle in the South of France.

So, where does Stassi fit in if she no longer works in the hospitality business? She’ll be the eyes and ears (and presumably comedic relief) of the castle — Lisa Vanderpump’s personal guest. According to Cosmopolitan, she’ll report to Lisa everything she sees and hears between the staff.

Remember when I used to tell you don’t get involved in other people’s business? Well now, I want you to do the exact opposite.

As a VIP guest, Stassi shakes up the cast and stirs the pot. “I could be the lady of the castle,” Stassi gloats in the trailer. On Vanderpump Rules, Stassi was known for getting involved in people’s business or starting rumors against a castmate.

Vanderpump Villa won’t be the only time fans can catch Stassi on Hulu. According to US Magazine, it’s just the start of something bigger. Stassi also signed with Hulu for her own show, Stassi Says.

  • Deadline reported that Stassi Says will be a docu-comedy that’s a half-hour long.

The official description of the series states, “Endlessly relatable, utterly hysterical, and questionably sane, Stassi is the anchor of a fresh ensemble of comedic and chaotic characters who are dealing with identity crises and major life crossroads of their own — and Stassi’s the one who has to keep them all afloat.”

  • Stassi teamed up with former Vanderpump Rules producers, Erin Foye and Jenna Rosenfeld.

Between two new series, Bravo fans can thank Hulu for bringing Stassi back in front of our cameras.

As of this article’s publishing, there’s no release date for Stassi Says. However, it’s assumed that once Vanderpump Villa releases, they’ll tease the series then.

Stassi Schroeder Has Been Busier Than Ever Since Leaving Vanderpump Rules

After leaving Vanderpump Rules, Stassi jumped into other projects to support her own brand. She wrote three New York Times Best-Selling books, created two podcasts: Stassi Podcast and The Good, The Bad, The Baby, and focused on influencing.

After leaving Vanderpump Rules, Stassi didn’t have much of a connection to the cast anymore. And it looks like the same can be said for the new season. According to Too Fab, Stassi knew nothing about the new future cast of Vanderpump Rules.

I know nothing. I know nothing. Jon Snow, you would have to tell me, I truly, I don’t know.

She continued saying, “The only way to be anything is to be your most authentic self. If you try to emulate anyone, if you try to copy things, it doesn’t work, stay true to yourself, because there’s always a group of people who just who will relate.”

Outside of her professional life, Stassi and her husband, Beau Clark, have two kids: Hartford Charlie Rose and Messer Rhys.

“It’s so crazy how something can be the best thing to ever happen to… is also the s*******, because it’s like, ‘Oh my god, like, it’s so hard to raise two humans correctly. And, that’s just so s*****, the pressure to get it all right is so intense,” the mother of two shared to Too Fab.

“But it’s the most magical f****** thing to wake up with your kids every day and to see them during the day, and then to go to sleep and be, ‘I have two gorgeous, f****** healthy kids… I’m so f****** lucky.'”

Beau also makes an appearance on Vanderpump Villa, and unfortunately, is seen fighting with Stassi. “You feel safe with me?” Stassi is seen saying to Beau. “I can make you feel unsafe.”

Stassi took to her podcast (via US Weekly) to discuss the fight and why she became this “dark passenger.”I haven’t [had] the dark passenger in a really long time. So l’m like, ‘Why there? Why on TV? Why can’t I control myself?” She went on to say arguments on TV are worse because of the level or production that’s around. “I think it’s a mixture of a few things. First of all, yes the fact that cameras are around — it’s like everything’s heightened. The stress level is just higher.”

While Stassi did call the experience “overwhelming,” Season 2 is theoretically supposed to be better than Season 1 because of Stassi presence, her bather with Lisa, and the famous guests they have.

Catch Season 2 of Vanderpump Villa on Hulu Apr. 24, 2025.
