Would you like to see Jack Quaid endure a thorough beating while you relax comfortably on your couch at home? Well, you’re in for a treat because the movie Novocaine from 2025 will be available for purchase and rental on digital platforms starting tomorrow.

Directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen, with the screenplay penned by Lars Jacobson, Novocaine features Jack Quaid (son of Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan) in the role of Nate Cain. Nate was born with a unique medical condition that renders him unable to sense pain. One fateful day, Nate connects with his dream girl, Sherry (portrayed by Prey star Amber Midthunder), only to see her being abducted by a gang of bank robbers. Determined to save his beloved, Nate decides to leverage his condition to rescue her himself.

Alongside Quaid, the movie also stars Ray Nicholson, Jacob Batalon, Betty Gabriel, and Matt Walsh. Having generated over $32 million at the global box office, Paramount Pictures aims to amplify its earnings through the premium video-on-demand launch. However, before you shell out $25 to watch Novocaine at home, note that the 2025 film will be available for free streaming on Paramount Plus in the coming days.

Where to watch Novocaine 2025 on streaming:

Beginning on Tuesday, April 8 at 12 a.m. Eastern Time (which is also April 7 at 9 p.m. Pacific Time) Novocaine will be available to buy digitally on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Fandango At Home, and more. The price may vary depending on which platform you use to purchase the film, but on Amazon Prime the movie costs $24.99 to buy, and $19.99 to rent. If you rent the movie, you’ll have 48 hours to watch the movie after you hit “play.”

Novocaine is not yet streaming on any subscription streaming services, but we do expect to see Novocaine streaming on Paramount+ soon, because it is a Paramount movie.

When will the 2025 Novocaine movie be streaming free on Paramount Plus?

The Novocaine Paramount+ streaming date has not yet been announced. Right now, the movie is only in theaters. That said, we do expect to see Novocaine streaming on Paramount+ eventually, but we’re not sure when. Another recent Paramount film, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, was released in theaters on December 20; released on digital platforms one month after opening in theaters, on January 21; and began streaming on Paramount+ about two months after opening in theaters, on February 18.

If Novocaine follows a similar release pattern, you might see the movie streaming on Paramount+ around mid-May 2025.

But this is all speculation. If you want to watch Novocaine right away, you can buy or rent the film online.
