From the moment I first laid eyes on Eric Ledgin and Justin Spitzer’s NBC mockumentary, St. Denis Medical, I knew the comedy had the potential to become one of today’s great comfort watches.

A Tuesday night spent without eyes on David Alan Grier, Allison Tolman, Josh Lawson, Kahyun Kim, Mekki Leeper, and Kaliko Kauahi’s character just doesn’t feel right. Which is why it pains me to report that St. Denis Medical is going on hiatus for several weeks before it returns with new episodes.

From the looks of the schedule, NBC will be airing Season 1, Episode 10, “People Just Say Stuff Online” in place of a new episode Tuesday night.

For those who need a refresher, that’s the episode when “Ron’s bedside manner earns him a complaint from a frustrated patient; Alex insists an unflattering online review was not about her; Bruce confronts his high-school bully.”
