EVANS, Ga. () – One of the bigger events of Masters Week outside the gates of Augusta National. The annual “Rock Fore! Dough” concert is at the Lady A Pavilion in Columbia County.

“I call Georgia home, and any chance to come to Augusta during the Masters Week is a chance I’m not going to turn down,” said Channing Wilson, a performer

Thousands came out tonight for the big fundraiser for the First Tee of Augusta. With a lineup of performers including The Mason Jars, Channing Wilson, Russel Dickerson, Brett Young, and D-J Rock. 

“The coolest thing about what we get to do is when doing our job. Something that we absolutely love to do allows us to also give back,” said Brett Young, a performer.

Over the past 20 years, Rock Fore! Dough has raised more than one point eight million dollars for Augusta’s First Tee.  

This is DJ Rock’s 9th year taking part in the show. He says he is glad to get everybody back together after the storm.

“I was here a few months ago and saw kind of the aftermath of what had happened,” said DJ Rock, a performer. “Just still the cleanup that was going on. So, to be able to come here now. Get everybody here on a beautiful day. Get everybody together. Celebrate a good cause.”

People who live in the CSRA love making this a tradition.

“You get to see people and get to see a band, and you know something to do,” said Susie Donaldson, an attendee.

They love to hang out with longtime friends at the event and make new friends.

“And you get to meet new people, yeah, and we have a lot of our friends that come out here,” said Dottie Donaldson, an attendee.

People we spoke to love to come to Rock FORE! Dough during Masters Week.  

“We’re just out here having a good time. A big group of friends. A great way to spend spring break,” said Kaitlyn Tullia, an attendee.

Families were excited to hear the music at the event.

“I’m excited to hear what they have,” said Caleb Mack, an attendee

“I do want to kind of hear some music,” said Carion Mack, an attendee.

Road closures around the park will last until midnight. So, pay attention to law enforcement that is directing traffic in the area.
