Maryland deputies fear for missing mother-of-two, Lesbia Mileth Ramirez Guerra, 23, and the Charles County Sheriff’s Office suspects foul play in her disappearance. Meanwhile, federal authorities have also taken her boyfriend, who is the father of her children, into custody for allegedly being in the U.S. without proper documentation.
Deputies have said that Guerra was last seen physically on March 31. The day after, on April 1, the family’s red Toyota 4Runner was spotted being moved from the front to the back of the home, law enforcement spokesperson Diane Richardson told Law&Crime. Because of the layout of the property, this would have been awkward. Nonetheless, the vehicle was driven to the front and left the premises. Deputies have called this activity “unusual and suspicious.”
Richardson said that the sheriff’s office wants people to check on surveillance cameras for the 4Runner from March 31 to April 2. Last Wednesday, April 2, is the day that Guerra’s boyfriend reported her missing, deputies said. Authorities are casting a wide net for any video that could be related — not just from surveillance cameras, but also hunters’ cameras in the woods. Investigators are especially interested in footage from isolated or rural roadways.
“Guerra was last physically seen on the evening of March 31 at her residence on Adams Court in Waldorf, where she lives with several individuals, including her boyfriend, who is the father of her two children,” deputies wrote Monday.

Investigators have not identified a suspect, but Richardson called the boyfriend a person of interest. In executing a search warrant at the home, they found counterfeit immigration papers in the man’s possession, they said. When checking with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), they learned these were fakes, and he was undocumented in the country, they said. ICE agents took him into custody.

Detectives are working diligently to develop additional information and are asking for the public’s help. Anyone with knowledge of Guerra’s whereabouts or who may have seen the Toyota 4Runner between March 31 and April 2, including areas that are isolated and or remote, is asked to contact Detective Burgess at 301-609-6494 or submit a tip anonymously through Charles County Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS.
“It’s very serious what’s happening,” a friend of Guerra who identified himself as Wilson told D.C.-area ABC affiliate WJLA in an interview, which the outlet translated from Spanish to English. “And we’re all hoping for the moment she appears alive and well and soon. The kids aren’t at fault for anything. And they’re suffering right now. We all want her to appear alive and well again. She was like a sister to me. She was a really good person. Every time I come in and spend time with them, she’s always a great person towards me.”
