NSW Police have spoken to and released five teenage boys who were involved in a wild brawl between Roosters and Rabbitohs fans at Accor Stadium on Friday night.

Footage online showed more than 10 supporters exchanging punches before security attempted to intervene.

The incident unfolded late in the second half, with 22 people ejected from the venue.

‘About 9.40pm Friday 4 April 2025, police and security at a stadium in Sydney Olympic Park were called to a section of stands following reports of a brawl during a football game,’ it read.

‘Officers were told two groups of people were involved in the brawl.

‘All people involved were ejected from the venue by security. No injuries were reported.

‘Officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command immediately commenced an investigation into the incident.

‘Following inquiries, police spoke to five boys – aged 15, 17, and three aged 16 – at Auburn Police Station today (Wednesday 9 April 2025).

‘All five have been dealt with under the Young Offenders Act and released.

‘Inquiries are continuing.’

The development comes just after police released images of eight people they want to speak to over a vicious bashing that allegedly left a woman unconscious at last Sunday night’s Bulldogs vs Knights NRL match at the same venue.

A man who tried to protect the woman was also allegedly assaulted when he tried to help the woman.

‘Members of the public and security intervened and those involved left the scene shortly after,’ NSW police said in a statement.
