Farmer Wants a Wife season 3 contestant Halleh Day is causing some drama with her fellow contestants after she pulled a disappearing act to seemingly spend some extra time with Matt Warren.
In an exclusive clip shared with In Touch ahead of the new episode on Thursday, April 10, Alexandra Webb, Jordyn Mallory and Rachel Eve sat on a couch together and discussed what might have happened to Halleh, 29, after it was revealed that she had been missing from her room when the women woke up on Matt’s farm that morning.
“My gut feeling is that maybe she was sneaking off to maybe see Matt,” Rachel, 25, said. “‘Cause I feel like they’ve been, like, eying each other differently when we’re around them, so I feel like it’s possible.”
The other women agreed, with Jordyn, 32, asking, “Where else would she have gone?”
“Yeah,” Alexandra, 29, added.
Matt, 30, met Halleh, along with seven other women vying for his heart, in the premiere of Farmer Wants a Wife season 3 on March 20. She works in real estate, which is the Morro Bay, California, resident’s former field, so the pair had something in common right off the bat. Halleh said in the premiere that she was “excited” to meet Matt and “definitely not afraid to do what I have to do and step on toes because I’m here to find love.”
“So, I’m going to do everything I can in order to make that happen,” she added.
After meeting his eight contenders in speed dating, Matt selected five women to join him on his farm and sent the other three — Jordan, Olivia and Christine — home. However, he had one more decision to make, as only one of the five women could visit the farm early and spend an uninterrupted 24 hours of alone time with Matt before the other contestants arrived. He chose Jordyn.

Matt and Jordyn connected in their time together on the farm, with the Nashville musician telling the fruit farmer that she would be willing to give up music for something worthy, such as finding love.
Later, Matt bonded with the rest of the women on the farm by working on chores together. He revealed in episode 3 that he hadn’t eliminated anyone else yet because he didn’t want to rush things, but Halleh argued that someone on the farm had to leave in order for him to start building meaningful bonds.
During a date in episode 3, Halleh told Matt that she was previously in a serious relationship and was cheated on. She told the reality star that it would be a dream for her to move to the farm and start a life with him, and Matt said he realized that he wanted to explore their connection more.
Matt left his career in real estate a few years ago to help his sister-in-law maintain her family’s legacy on their fruit farm, Shanley Farms, as revealed in his Fox bio.
“Matt’s natural gift for fruit farming makes it look like he’s been doing it his whole life, but it wasn’t until in the last few years when his sister-in-law’s parents tragically passed away, that he traded in his real estate house flipping hammer for a harvesting hoe,” the bio reads. “Matt dove deeply into the agriculture industry and has worked alongside his brother and sister-in-law ever since.”
And now that he’s dedicated himself to life on the farm, Matt is ready to find a wife and start a family there.
“It’s a pretty easy place to love, so it’s not hard to convince anyone of that,” he told The Tribune. “But just, being here, being interested in farming and living this kind of lifestyle and wanting to raise a family in this type of way — that’s important.”
