Kingsport Farmers Market season kicks off April 26

KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) — The 2025 Kingsport Farmers Market season starts later this month.

According to the City of Kingsport, the farmers market season kicks off on April 26 with opening day events and activities.

The opening day will feature children’s activities from the Kingsport Public Library starting at 8:30 a.m. Children can also get free tomato seedlings while supplies last.

The Kingsport Carousel opens with $1 rides at 10 a.m.

Free shopping bags that can be colored on-site will be provided while supplies last.

Shoppers can also enjoy live music from Mike Milhorn and the Possum Chasers.

The farmers market is open Saturdays through the end of November, and it will also be open on Wednesdays starting May 1 and going through the end of September.

The Kingsport Farmers Market is open from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. or until all the produce and products are sold out.

Shoppers can look forward to finding fresh produce, baked goods, meats, flowers and crafts.
